Celtic Comfort is located far enough from city life to make a difference,
but close enough for you to experience all the mountains have to offer.

The closest town (less than 10 miles) to our cabin is Hot Springs, and it hosts various events such as:
Appalachian Trail Festival, Bluff Mountain Festival, CBA Motorcycle Rally, and more!
It’s a quaint mountain town that’s a popular vacation destination during summer and fall.
Throughout the year folks from Asheville, and even Tennessee
often enjoy a weekend getaway here.

You’ll find locally owned restaurants, Hillbilly market, Gentry hardware store, and shops,
but only one gas station, and only one franchise store/Dollar General
less than 10 miles from Celtic Comfort.

When you’re in Hot Springs you’ll notice the renowned Hot Springs Resort & Spa .
Make a reservation to soak in a naturally heated tub of mineral water,
and maybe indulge in a massage, too!

The Appalachian Trail passes through town, and over the French Broad River
(3rd oldest river in the world).
It’s a small town where you won’t find a traffic light,
and you just might forget about life’s daily routine and worries!

A short drive from Celtic Comfort you may enjoy a day at
Fowler Farms Sporting Clays,

or seasonal quail hunting on their property with
Split Mountain Quail & Preserve.

Just driving through the Spring Creek valley, and the surrounding areas…
you’ll enjoy the scenery.
Old barns, scenic views, maybe wildlife roaming will get your attention!

view from Max Patch Bald

Max Patch Bald with panoramic views is a great place to watch the sunset,
and hike to the Appalachian Trail.

At sunset on the Blue Ridge Parkway

There is much more to see and do throughout the mountains.
A day trip to Asheville will keep you busy, and in the opposite direction towards
Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, too.
